Give me a camera and I'll show you the world through my eyes - TekRebel
I started photography at a very
young age. By the 7th grade I was one of the
few who owned and carried a 35mm camera on them at all times. I
developed so much film at Walmart the whole photo department was
on a first name basis with me. I was on my high school's year
book committee as a photographer, if that has any bearing on my
photography skills. When I hit college I began shooting
professionally. I was the photographer for the first ever
Pan-Asian graduation at Calpoly. I received my first photography
paycheck from Calpoly, which led to other paid school
opportunities including Friendship Games.
From there I moved onto the import scene not so
much by choice, but by opportunity. I networked myself out there
and got myself noticed. By the end of it all I had some work go
into national publications including Maxim magazine. Honestly, I
felt unchallenged. I was taking pictures of already labeled
beautiful women. I started shooting fashion, glamour, and
weddings. I wanted to show people something they've never seen
before, but was there the whole time. So here I am showing the
world through my eyes...
I use a Minolta Maxxum 5 SLR and a Canon Rebel XTi Digitial SLR
with various lens.
