Scooters logo (Logo-003) was created in 2007 for scooters and moped company. At the time, they were leading reseller of scooters and mopeds within the US. Ultimately, they were slowly heading towards creating their own name brand (designs of subsequent logos will follow). Eventually, once their own brand was created, this site was eventually going to be just a redirect page to the main site.
CONCEPT AND DESIGN
The logo was for an online retailer without a physical store. It was also used sparingly in many brochures and paper materials for marketing. It was important to the owner that they were reminded to go back to the online store so the “.com” was added to the logo design. Finally, the owner wanted something to represent moving vehicular parts and as a result the gears were added.
