Magazine ads have been an integral part of advertising for decades. There were once considered a staple in marketing as well as branding expansion, but have since taking a backseat to interactive internet ads. An ad’s main purpose is to make a casual reader take notice of something that normally would not interest them. Having an ad stand out from the rest is a talent in itself and very few ads have transcended time. One of the greatest examples of this are the “Got Milk” ads that have even spawned parody ads.

MMFF Car Print Ad

In January 2014 I created a print ad for a nationally published magazine called Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords (MMFF). I crammed as many products into a single page with prices. Not to mention, these are usually found at the very end of the magazine. I went with a red, white, and blue theme to give readers a reminder that this particular company manufactured all their parts in the U.S. Furthermore, the whole ad was laid out in Adobe Indesign and images were touched up in Adobe Photoshop.

OBVIOUSLY, ALL PRICES WITHIN THE PRINT AD ARE INVALID AND EXPIRED. IN ADDITION, SOME ITEMS MAY NO LONGER BE IN PRODUCTION OR CIRCULATION.
