Lowes Kiosk Print Signage

In 2015, I was hired by home improvement giant Lowes to design some marketing material for them. For this reason they wanted me to create a couple of kiosk signage for their garden department. Furthermore, the signage would run throughout various Lowe’s in the 4th quarter of 2015. One particular request Lowe’s had was they wanted to promote more social media. The way the shelves were setup the bottom half of the ad would not be seen if the display was full. For this reason I labeled the succulents in the lower half of the design. When people bought succulents they would consequently see the hidden message behind it.

Beers & Burgers Digital Menu Concept

In June 2015, a client requested a couple concept designs for a digital menu. These digital menus would be seen in fast food restaurants. This client wanted to see my creativity and gave me freedom in choosing the type of food the restaurant served. To add a bit of difficulty to this task I asked one of my friends, whom works as a cook/chef, to give me a type of food she would like to someday start a business for.

Beers & Burgers is another digital menu concept I came up with. This concept design is not the final product and has since been adjusted to fit the needs of the client. Images were taken from royalty free websites and were only used in the conceptualization phase of the design as placeholders, but were not used for any business. All things considered, my design was actually used for a sandwich shop’s beer menu in Carlsbad Village, CA.

Veganism Digital Menu Concept

In June 2015, a client requested a couple concept designs for a digital menu. These digital menus would be seen in fast food restaurants. This client wanted to see my creativity and gave me freedom in choosing the type of food the restaurant served. To add a bit of difficulty to this task I asked one of my friends, whom works as a cook/chef, to give me a type of food she would like to someday start a business for. As a result, she gave me was a restaurant for vegans and a gourmet burger place.

Veganism was I word I made up for the restaurant name. I am not a vegan in the slightest, but I felt I know enough about the lifestyle to accurately convey a overall feeling in the concept. I used a palette of colors I’ve never used before.

Club Flyer for R3 Lounge

I designed an R3 club flyer as a favor for a friend Pro Bono. I do about a dozen of these a year for various clubs/promotions around southern California. There’s pretty basic stuff that goes into a flyer that needs to grab people’s attention. Lot’s of random things intertwined throughout the whole design that cohesively comes together as a whole. This particular one was done in Illustrator with tons of vectors. A good designer should be able to churn out flyers like these with completely different designs within an hour.

Web Banners for Car Parts Company

In early 2014 I was hired as a freelance designer by a car parts company. They put me in charge of their online marketing campaign as well as the design department. I created a handful of web banners for various parts of their websites as well as marketing material for other websites. This was also done to match their print ad campaign. The company had in stock thousands of mustang car parts, some which were best sellers. They often went into the marketing rotation since they produced them in the US.

Car Show Postcard for Florida

I was hired as a freelance designer to manage an upcoming car show marketing campaign targeting Florida. In addition I created the car show postcard mailers and a flyer. It needed to be made in conjunction with online material so that the branding was all the same. I went with a red, white, and blue theme as the target demographic was those with American Muscle cars. I also used a carbon fiber overlay to tie in some of the products that were going to be sold at the show. As a result, the show was sold out in record time.

MMFF Car Print Ad

In January 2014 I created a print ad for a nationally published magazine called Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords (MMFF). I crammed as many products into a single page with prices. Not to mention, these are usually found at the very end of the magazine. I went with a red, white, and blue theme to give readers a reminder that this particular company manufactured all their parts in the U.S. Furthermore, the whole ad was laid out in Adobe Indesign and images were touched up in Adobe Photoshop.

OBVIOUSLY, ALL PRICES WITHIN THE PRINT AD ARE INVALID AND EXPIRED. IN ADDITION, SOME ITEMS MAY NO LONGER BE IN PRODUCTION OR CIRCULATION.

The Art of War Guild as Magic cards

In 2010 I created these Magic Cards for the guild members of The Art of War. I was appointed as the Art of War guild webmaster in World of Warcraft. I’ve been doing this since the Burning Crusade expansion. Our initial guild members are actually life-long friends. Some of us even know each other from elementary school. I developed these cards to convince members to stay with us long-term, and so people on our website could have avatars. Most of our members played Magic at one point, some even at a professional level. Card images are in-game screenshots of the character attached with either a fun inside-guild joke of their personality or something they did in-game that’s memorable. I have lately been obsessed with games like Elo and LOL, I love to go on P4R-Gaming and get boosters for my games, there tons of different skins for League of Legends available at proskins.io as well.

Phoenix Logo for Power Sports

The Phoenix Logo was a sub brand of the Power Sports company. I used a sans-serif and italicized font that would be readable from far away distances. This was going to be put on mopeds and scooters. The X in the logo was colored in red to represent a phoenix. It was also extended to represent the idea of a fast bird. I worked on a handful of branding projects with this company, but this was the only one that I had solely worked on that I feel comfortable enough to claim credit in creating. The company has since discontinued this particular brand.
